I took all my money out of risk (well not all, but most) and stuck in cash many months ago. I keep seeing this run-up in equities. S & P almost double from crisis low and DOW up 86 percent. Why do I not think it real?

I took all my money out of risk (well not all, but most) and stuck in cash many months ago. I keep seeing this run-up in equities. S & P almost double from crisis low and DOW up 86 percent. Why do I not think it real? Why is there this nagging gut feeling of another crash? I mean housing is getting worse not better. Employment will never return because there are no skilled applicants and our unions and social safety nets never leaves anyone hungry or uncomfortable. Gold is still king which says a lot about mood or that some know or think they know something the wall street puppet masters don’t. Muni’s are becoming scary. Inflation winds are stirring globally. Food-based commodities are skyrocketing and I see no mathematical or scientific reason for them ever to return to what has been a stable norm for decades. Governments that are investing are looking toward other currencies than the US Dollar for the first time in. I don’t know how long. Centuries? What do you think?

Indianapolis has the most beautiful well designed airport in the Nation It is very sad that the quality of the employees that run security is so poor. I am not exaggerating when I say there has to be millions of dollars of waste here. I don’t see this situation this poorly at other US cities.

Indianapolis has the most beautiful well designed airport in the Nation It is very sad that the quality of the employees that run security is so poor. I am not exaggerating when I say there has to be millions of dollars of waste here. I don’t see this situation this poorly at other US cities. Very few people are working with scores of people standing around socializing, or surfing the web. Even the people working are shooting the breeze not paying attention to anything or anyone. They are rude and demonstrate a class of social misfits. I am not an elitist or look down on anyone. Well except the TSA at Indianapolis. I bet there is a big opportunity to cut US budget in this area. Fly through an airport in Canada and compare their security with ours. Less people. Professional people. Effective people.
